Most yarn brands of a similar weight may be used for this hat pattern, using the two strand method to achieve the 'ombre' effect (UK Double knit) (USA light worsted) (AUS 8 ply).
A great way to use up your yarn scraps, mix two different tones to create your own colourway and Have fun :-)
