The crocheted Granny square begins with a heart and and becomes a square. The heart is an integral part of the granny square (it is not appliqued on afterwards).
Level - Advanced beginner.
A knowledge of basic crochet stitches needed.
Written in USA English terms with conversion chart for UK terms included.
YARN
The crochet blanket has been crocheted in a Stylecraft Special Dk / light worsted weight acrylic yarn.
All colors are listed.
Other light worsted yarns may be used for this blanket such as Paintbox Dk, James C. Brett Dk or King cole DK.
Can be adjusted and made in any size to fit your requirements simply by adding more Granny squares. Cotton yarns may also be used along with other yarns weights and the appropriate hook size.
The pattern is for crib, pram, stroller size baby blanket 28 x 22'5" But can be made to any size.
**INCLUDES A STITCH BY STITCH COLOR PHOTO TUTORIAL** So you can see exactly where to place your hook and join your new color, couldn't be easier! (photo tutorial can be viewed on your screen if you do not want to print them off)
