Yarn used for Aran weight blanket: Stylecraft special Aran for babies 100g x 4 Balls

Yarn used for DK weight blanket: Peter Pan DK 50g x 4 balls. 

Other yarn recommendations :

Aran weight: King Cole Comfort Aran 100g, Paintbox Aran, in fact most other soft Aran or yarns of a similar weight may be used.

DK weight: Stylecraft special DK, Paintbox DK, Kingcole comfort DK, Peter Pan DK, or most other DK brands.

Hook size Aran blanket 6mm (Border 5.5mm)

Hook size DK blanket 5mm (Border 4.5mm)

Very easy pattern to follow

Kerry’s patterns are always so easy to read and follow and I can say that because I can’t usually read or understand a pattern at all. This is my second baby blanket I’ve made with Kerry’s pattern and I’m sure there will be many more for me to make very soon.

Pretty little ‘comfort’ blanket

Enjoyed crocheting this sweet little blanket and, as ever, Kerry’s patterns are easy to follow. I went a little rogue on Kerry’s hat pattern and made one with yarn left over too! And yes the colour is rather bright!

Perfect pattern

Really enjoyed crocheting this little heart comfort blanket as I like to call them 🙂. It’s a nice easy pattern to do while watching some TV; I went rogue making Kerry’s lovely bobble hat with yarn I had left over too!
