Yarn used for DK blanket: King Cole Comfort DK 100g x 2/3 balls.
Hook size for Aran blanket 6mm (Border 5.5mm)
Hook size for DK blanket 5mm (Border 4.5mm)

Aran Yarns: King Cole Comfort Aran 100g, Paintbox Aran, most other soft Aran yarns of a similar weight may be used.
