This delightful little baby cardigan has been crocheted using DK yarn (USA light worsted) (AUS 8 ply).
The Bobtail cardigan is worked in one piece, so there are no parts to sew together!
The textured cluster stitch pattern is pretty from both sides and is reversible up until you sew on the button. You can choose to have the smooth side showing or the textured bumpy side 😊
Designed with comfort in mind, this baby cardigan has a fairly loose fit to easily go over Babies clothes.

Hobbycraft - Hey Baby - DK 50g (used in pattern examples)
Stylecraft Special Baby DK

Customer Reviews
I’m so pleased with this pattern. It’s an absolute joy to follow because it’s very informative. It’s difficult finding US terminology in Britain but this pattern gives both US and UK versions. Plus lots of tips as you crochet along. Thank you Kerry Jayne.
This is the first article of clothing I've ever made, I was apprehensive about making it as I've only ever crocheted blankets before. And never read a crochet pattern before. This was so simple (even though I accidently bought the USA version and I'm in the UK) I couldn't believe it just went together really easily. I just read the pattern one line at a time and it was very clear. Well done Kerry Jayne! I've since gone on and made the little shrug too. Sorry no pictures as they've been sent on to the little girl (who's parents were absolutely delighted)
The pattern instructions are well written & very easy to follow. It worked up quickly, without any difficulty & turned out amazingly cute. A definite success! This is my new “go to” baby sweater pattern. 🐾
