One Little Whale Blanket CROCHET PATTERN - A warm and cosy everyday blanket. 

2 different sizes !!! (see sizes below) Can be made in Aran weight and DK weight !!!

Easy to crochet, using a simple Half treble stitch (USA Hdc) and a Bobble stitch!

A full graph of the whole blanket is included for you to print out and easy to follow step by step written instructions. 

Stitches used:

UK Terms: Half treble (Htr), Bobble (BO), Double crochet (Dc).
USA Terms: Half double crochet (Hdc), Bobble (BO), Single crochet (Sc), Bobble).

Includes: A full stitch guide and links to my tutorials on how to make the stitches.
 
Aran  Blanket size approx 26" W x 30" L - suitable for cot, pram and stroller.
DK Blanket size approx 22" W x 24" L - suitable for moses basket and carseat.

Amounts given in pattern for Aran weight and DK weight blanket. 

Yarn used for Aran blanket: Stylecraft special Aran for babies 100g x 4 Balls.
Yarn used for DK blanket: Peter Pan DK 50g x 4 balls.

Other yarn recomendations: 
Aran Yarns: King Cole Comfort Aran 100g, Paintbox Aran, most other soft Aran yarns of a similar weight may be used.

DK yarns: Peter Pan DK, Stylecraft special DK, King Cole Comfort DK, Paintbox DK. Most other similar DK brands may be used.

Hook size for Aran blanket 6mm (Border 5.5mm)
Hook size for DK blanket 5mm (Border 4.5mm)
